U.S. Launches Additional Strikes After Their Friday Attack

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) and it’s forces conducted strikes on Iran Saturday, following their retaliatory strikes yesterday at the orders of President Donald Trump.

CENTCOM wrote in their article published on X that after giving Iran another chance to “honor the ceasefire agreement” after Iran had struck the M/V Ever Lovely on Friday, but “elected not to when it’s forces launched a one-attack drone that hit M/T Kiku this morning at 4:30 a.m. ET.” The Panama flagged tanker was moving through the Strait of Hormuz carrying two-million barrels of crude oil.

CENTCOM forces launched strikes Saturday in “direct response too continued Iranian aggression against commercial shipping.” The U.S. Military aircraft targeted Iranian military surveillance infrastructure, communication systems, air defense, drone storage, and minelayer capabilities. CENTCOM states that U.S. forces remain “vigilant, lethal, and ready.”

Whether you believe that this situation calls for diplomacy or vigilance and lethality, is for you to decide.
